Dreaming of a Century-Long Legacy Through Traditional Sundae
A True Devotion to Sundae
"With over 20 years of experience in the food business,
I’ve put everything on the line—and that’s what makes
all the difference."
Over 20 Years of Experience, Chasing a Greater Dream
My journey began with a single backpack and a passion for food.
I traveled across Korea, learning from the country’s best chefs and restaurants.
In Daehakro, one small restaurant quickly grew into several—
from jjamppong (spicy noodle) to K-BBQ and more—
earning me a place in the neighborhood’s vibrant dining scene for over 15 years.
Every step, every flavor, inspired me to dream even bigger—
and that dream became Sundaesilrok.
A century-long dream that will continue in order

Let me do
what I do best
— once more.
The Infinite Possibilities of Sundae
The definition of sundae is actually quite simple:
fresh animal casing filled with uniquely crafted stuffing
— that alone makes it sundae.
Spending 3 Years with Every Kind of Sundae in the World
"The moment I saw “traditional sundae morcilla” on the menu of a fine dining restaurant in Spain,
I knew what I had to do.
I returned to Korea with a clear mission: to share authentic Korean sundae with the world.
Guided by Siuijeonseo, a late Joseon Dynasty culinary manuscript,
I began the journey of turning our heritage into a global brand."
From Korea to the world
A Journey Across Korea and Beyond, Exploring Every Kind of Sundae
With thorough preparations, I set out to explore every corner of Korea,
from local markets to hidden kitchens in the provinces.
My journey eventually led me to Jeju,
where I discovered how Mongolian food culture had shaped Jeju’s unique sundae.
That experience naturally expanded my journey from a Korean regional tour to a global exploration.
Today, I continue to travel across Asia, Europe, and beyond,
learning, tasting, and creating sundae in all its forms—
connecting Korean tradition to the world’s flavors.
