    Our traditional sundae, beloved by people worldwide

    To achieve our grand dream, Sundaesilrok is researching and authenticating
    traditional sundae recorded in our ancient texts, creating new value

    Starting with the 1877 Sundae, restored from the cooking record book
    Siuijeonseo, compiled in 1877 at the end of the Joseon Dynasty,
    we begin the restoration of our traditional sundae.

  • Modern Reinterpretation
    of Our Ancestors’ Wisdom

    Over 10 types of natural vegetables, including mung beans, water parsley,
    and finely chopped napa cabbage kimchi

    Using 5 types of seasoning to balance the flavor, combined with blood
    and carefully kneaded, this traditional sundae is stuffed into pig intestines
    and boiled, a recipe passed down from our ancestors.

    Based on the cooking method from Siuijeonseo, we added ingredients such
    as salt, soy sauce, and shrimp paste, which were unavailable at the time,
    to create sundae that perfectly suits the modern palate.

    Additionally, by adjusting the proportion of blood, which acts as a binder,
    we’ve enhanced the nutritional value, creating a special sundae.

    Sundaesilrok, where the flavors enjoyed by our ancestors coexist with modern
    tastes. It holds a unique value that cannot be compared to anything else.

    pigs to make sundae, I’ve been with sundae my entire life.

    However, to a young girl, sundae was just one of those
    foods with a strong smell and an unattractive appearance.

    Perhaps this memory left a trauma?

    Thanks to this, I dedicated the most time to creating
    a sundae with no smell, making sundae my life’s work.
